Since recording this episode of the podcast, CSASS have made the very difficult decision to close. This is due to the ongoing challenges of securing and sustaining funding, an issue that affects so many small charity organisations. We would like to thank CSASS for their incredible work over the past 30 years.

Trigger Warning: This episode contains discussions about sexual violence, which may be distressing for some listeners. Please prioritise your wellbeing and use the links below to access support if needed.

In this episode, Shaunagh and Lily are joined by Katie, Student Engagement Project Officer from Student Services, and Kathryn from Chester Sexual Abuse Support Service (CSASS) to mark North West Sexual Violence Awareness Week and highlight the importance of the Reclaim the Night March.

Katie and Kathryn discuss the impact of sexual violence, the support services available to survivors, and the steps we can all take to create safer, more inclusive communities. We explore practical ways to advocate for change, including participation in the Reclaim the Night March and how to foster a culture of respect and consent.
